What to Expect

Visiting a new church for the first time can be a nerve wracking experience, and we want to help you avoid this by orienting you before you attend one of our gatherings.

• Sunday service start time: 4:00 PM - (Kids Church starts after 1 or 2 worship songs)
• Location: 1415 NE 223rd Ave, Fairview, OR 97024 (Anthem Church Building)

Friendly and welcoming people who love Jesus.  We make room for people to greet one another as they arrive just before worship.  You can find a seat anywhere you feel comfortable and we will call people to their seats for the start of worship.

Parking

We have designated parking for families and ADA parking, and our meeting place is wheelchair accessible.

Come as you are

We don't have a special dress code, you can come in shorts, jeans, a three piece suit, whatever you feel comfortable wearing.

During the gathering...

We start with prayer and/or praise and worship - we sing contemporary praise and worship songs for the most part and at times, some classic hymns.  We worship with singing, raising hands, clapping, and making a joyful noise to the Lord like it is described in Psalms 150:2-4 and Ephesians 5:19, and Colossians 3:16.

Worship

Kid's Church

We have kids classes which our kids are sent to after the first or second worship song for ages 1 through 5th grade.

Announcements & Giving

Immediately following worship we have announcements for upcoming events, followed by what is a continuation of our worship to the Lord, our giving!  We are a generous church that supports the work of the Lord financially with generosity as the Lord leads us to give.  We believe there is increase added to us by the Lord as we give in tithes and offerings to his house.

Teaching and Preaching

We teach and preach the word with boldness.  The Bible is our standard and we believe in the full counsel of the word of God to us in the scriptures.

Prayer Team Ministry

After the message we have our prayer team come forward to be available to join you in prayer for any need you might have in addition to specific needs that may be relevant to the message just preached.

The Table of the Lord - Communion

At times we will pass out cups of grape juice with bread or a wafer to obey the instruction of Jesus to remember him and consider his body which was broken for us that we might be healed and made whole, and his blood shed for us to be able to receive his free gift of righteousness through faith in Christ.
